When I first started working with Tom, my clean & jerk was 275 lbs, snatch 200 lbs, back squat 375 lbs, front squat was 335. Since then I am currently at a 335 clean & jerk, 235  snatch, 435 back squat, and 385 front squat. Even though the numbers are much better and the programming is fun, one of the best aspects of the programming is the deeper understanding of Olympic lifting and strength that Tom teaches his clients. He is a true professional and very passionate about his craft. I can gladly suggest to anyone that is wanting to improve and get better that Tom Sroka’s programming is top notch.

One of my biggest concentrations in working with Tom has been barbell cycling: efficient, fast, and technically correct lifts for multiple reps. I cannot emphasize enough how his program has improved not only increased my 1RM in all of the major lifts, but more important to my sport of CrossFit, has greatly improved my ability to cycle a barbell. This has set me far apart from other athletes at competitions, and carries over into my 1RM and heavier lift attempts; I'm confident that if I can hit an 85% lift for multiple unbroken reps, I can also trust myself to pursue heavier lifts and attempts.
