We all want one, whether you’d like to admit it or not, we all need to have a strong back and posterior chain to be at the top of our game. One tool which has been used for years to achieve such a thing is the Hungarian Core Blaster. This implement with a long name is also called a Blob, T-Bar Kettle Bell, or Core Builder.  If you consider yourself an athlete of any kind, this is a must have in your equipment arsenal. On top of balancing out the muscles of the legs, hips and torso, the strength gained from this tool in just a few workouts can’t be matched.

This implement was made popular by the Hungarian throwing team back in the 60s, 70s, and 80s and later brought back to the forefront of the strength world by Coach Dan John. There is not another device that can be made under 5 minutes for this price that can have such a positive effect on your training. Even with 25 lbs of weight on the apparatus a few swings will have you feeling it in your core, legs, and back. Do 3 sets of 15 swings 2-3x a week and you will notice the difference in your training and performance.

The implement can be purchased on numerous fitness equipment sites, but put your credit card away. We have an easy DIY project for you that costs under $30 that can get you one of your own. Check out the video at the end of this article to learn how we made them so you can get to get your back stronger now. If you are looking for a way to get heavier Kettle Bell Swings, RDLs, Ukranian Deadlifts, or Row Variations this is what you need to get them done.
