My wife and I plan our meals out a week at a time, generally before heading to the grocery store. We find that this is really effective for both of us for a few reasons: 1) we save at the grocery store because we’re not throwing random junk in the cart, 2) there’s no “I don’t know what to make for dinner” arguments, which then results with 3) going out to restaurants less. When planning our meals, there are five that usually make the rotation at least once a month, but usually more often than that. They’re easy, healthy, versatile, and fuel me for my heavy workload.
