5-Minute Shredded BBQ Pork

I don’t love cooking, but I love eating, so I’ve forced myself to learn what to do in the kitchen. No matter how easy something is to make on the stove or oven, I will choose a crockpot meal any day. You literally just throw things in there, plug it in, and walk away. After work, training or school, you come home and your meal is done. This BBQ pork is a staple in my house. I buy tons of pork and chicken when it’s on sale, throw it in the crockpot with some BBQ sauce, and keep it in the fridge all week. Eat it by itself, on top of a huge baked potato, in a sandwich with more sauce, or in a spinach salad when you’re looking for some vitamins and minerals. I may even be guilty of throwing this into my eggs in the morning just because it’s so damn good.

Because I advocate clean(ish) eating, I’d recommend finding a good BBQ sauce that’s not full of crap like high-fructose corn syrup and other processed garbage. It’s just not necessary. I like this one, and not just because there’s a dinosaur on the bottle. If you feed your body crap, your body will look and act like crap. Enough said.
